When My Grandmother Died.

On the night of her funeral, I remember my head hitting the pillow, trying to wrap my head around her being gone. I laid there feeling so alone. I wondered where she was and what she was doing. I finally fell asleep with a sobby pillow, not knowing my life would change forever.

 She appeared to me in my dream. She wasn’t a ghost or a cloudy figure. I saw her exactly as she was before. Solid, crisp, so vivid, I knew in that instant it was really her. The first words out of my mouth were “Grandma, I went to your funeral today!”

 I told her who was there and what had occurred. She finally stopped me and with her regular sharp and snarky tone, “Yeah Mija, I know I was there!” We laughed together and hugged.

She told me things about heaven and my mother’s childhood, which my mother later verified to be true. She also showed me things about my future that came to pass.

We met in the dream world for many years and eventually I was able to bridge the gap between spirit world and physical world while I was awake. 

When she crossed over, it was the start of our beautiful new relationship. I truly would not be who I am today without her in my life before and after she passed. 

Needless to say, I became a life learner with all things spiritual. I studied about life after death, various religions, astrology, meditation, tarot cards, reiki, energy and much more.

My doctorate degree in chiropractic helped me to understand the powerful connection between the mind, body, and soul. I have been serving for over a two decades and have helped thousands of people on their journey of life.

Recently, spirit has guided me to begin writing. I self-published my first Sci-Fi futuristic thriller, Stardente. I also wrote the screenplay for it as well. I have since started my next Sci-Fi thriller, I hope to release later this year.  

When I am not working, I am with my amazing family which I adore with all my heart. My husband, Chris, is my rock. My son, Joshua, lights up the room with his laugh. My daughter, Aliya, is so compassionate and tender.
